Varieties Of Routes You Can Use To Obtain Your Body Temperature.

  • The Body temperature is the result of the amount of heat produced by the body and the amount of heat lost from the body.

There are several different ways and instruments you can use to determine your body temperature, before discussing that let me define this term.

CORE BODY TEMPERATURE is the temperature of the deeper tissues of the body, such as the heart, brain, and other internal organs. The expected core body temperature of an adult is 36.1 ̊C to 38.2 ̊C. Physiological, developmental, and environmental factors as well as gender all influence core body temperature.

Ways to Take a Temperature
1.Rectal; The thermometer is placed in the child’s bottom. It is thought to be the most accurate temperature.
Normal range: 36.9°C to 38.1°C.




2. Oral: The thermometer is placed in the mouth under the tongue. Note: Pacifier digital thermometers are not recommended. They can be inaccurate.
Normal range: 36.4°C to 37.5°C
                              

3.Axillary: The thermometer is placed in the armpit.
Normal range: 35.8°C to 37.2°C
                  


4.Tympanic: The thermometer is placed in the ear.
Normal range: 36.1°C to 38.0°C
